Message from the Principal 2024
One of the purposes of education is to develop students’ potential. In the next few years, as we embark on the journey of school development, we shall focus on promoting students’ self-directed learning and cultivating their ability and attitude for lifelong learning. We believe that each student is unique and possesses potential. By providing a caring and friendly learning environment and arranging rich learning experiences and opportunities, students can actively explore and develop, unlocking their potential and strengths while discovering their interests and advantages for effective career planning.
Importance of Self-Directed Learning
Self-directed learning is not only a pathway for students to acquire knowledge but also a crucial skill for promoting self-management and self-reflection. Throughout this process, we will encourage students to set personal goals, develop problem-solving abilities, and learn how to glean lessons from their mistakes. We believe these experiences will help students face greater challenges in the future with more confidence and composure.
Enhancing Information Literacy and Digital Health
Additionally, we will strive to enhance students’ information literacy and promote digital health. In this rapidly evolving digital age, having good information literacy and healthy digital usage habits is vital. We will actively provide relevant learning resources and activities to help students learn and use the internet safely. We will develop students to become responsible digital citizens, using technology to bring positive impacts to themselves and others.
